Christmas Pups

Lance called last night and asked if I knew of anyone who could take these dogs in on a 23 degree night...that someone turned out to be me of course :)...

So now I have two female dogs, a mom and a pup who slept safely last night in my bathroom. Hopefully we'll find forever homes for them soon! I also need to come up with names
in case anyone has suggestions...

More pics from Sky's First Schooling Show

Being a baby horse isn't always easy...Some of the pictures show a little bit of the unknown you get when you approach a jump...is he going to stick in front of it, jump 2' over it or zip across it...you just never know...in any case, I always imagine Sky coming home to the barn telling his barnmates that he's "learning to fly!"

The Pimp & Ho Charity Ball

I tried for the "Ho" hair here...maybe I succeeded a little too much?!?

Thanksgiving 2009

I had a lovely if slightly under the weather Thanksgiving with my sisters and family...Erica thought it would be nice to get some family pictures at a great little woodsy spot near their house...

I must admit that the kids thought a bit differently :)

The Great Pumpkin Caper...

So, there I was wondering what in the world I was going to do with this 12 lb pumpkin I'd bought for Halloween....it was starting to get a bit well, old

One morning I walked out on the porch and the horses had cored the top off and eaten the entire insides of the pumpkin! I wasn't entirely sure if pumpkin was safe for horses, but they seemed totally fine. Personally, I'm thinking Sky was the ringleader...since he had previously twice dragged the pumpkin off the porch when I first got it...such funny kids!
